Default Tall Rider Windshield Advice!

I'm looking at these 2 windshields to put one on my 09 Ultra, take a look. I need input from people who have either especially tall riders who use one or the other. The one I am looking at from the first site is the last one on the page the 14" half moon. The one I am looking at on the Cee Bailey's site is the 15" without the vent. I will still slightly be looking over the top of either one.

I am 6'3" and use a 9.5 clearview shield with recurve and love it. Rode all day friday in 40 degree chicago weather with no problems.

lerc 88,
Can you post a pic and does the recurve let you go with a shorter shield and get the same results.

I'm 6'2" and went from a 4" shorty stardard on the SG, to a 8" and then a 10". The 10" works okay, but an extra inch would do a better job and it would not affect my ability to see over the shield.

If I try another shield it will be from these guys:

I saw one of their shields on a bike last summer and thought it looked great. I could not find out who sold them until I started to use this form.

Okay,
I thought I was tall, but 6'-1" doesn't make the grade here.
I also was looking at the Clearview, but a 4-6 week wait time worried me.
Anyone recently ordered one and had a quick turn around?

There is no quick turnaround unless you get luck and John is cutting lenses for your bike that week. Hasn't happened for me. That being said, you won't find better customer service. This guy will do anything for your business. And a great product to boot.

I have ordered 3 from Klock Werks, and although a bit pricey, they are fantastic shields. I have the 6.5" flair and they make a taller flair shield for taller riders. Check out their site. Customer service is excellent and they ship fast.

I am 6'4" with an 09 Ultra. I put a tall boy seat on it when I took delivery and I am looking through the windshield at just the right angle. I actually thought I was going to need to go with the taller shield based on 08 test rides, but so far so good. Been riding in 30 degree weather and have been well protected.
