Longer Kickstand??

I TOTALLY agree with timvan. It's the same kickstand that's on the LOWERED Street Glide. My '07 Ultra leans over WAYYYY to far. At one motorcycle event, they parked EVERYONE on a slope to the left. I couldn't get it off the kickstand. Needed a friends help. He agreed with me. Too short of a kickstand. Yes, I know, that it won't fall, and to trust the kickstand. If someone , even Harley, would sell a LONGER, QUALITY kickstand, I bet that they would sell hundreds if not thousands.

I don't see why HD doesn't offer a longer Jiffy Stand, for those that want one.
If Harley has scientifically figured out what the exact length of the Jiffy Stand should be, why don't they use a shorter stand for the Street Glides,Deluxes or the SE Fat Boy, like I own. I haven't read about any owners complaining about these models falling over, because the Jiffy Stand was too long.

You think that's bad. Try lowering the bike. Then, it will really make you nervous. I have never gotten used to the Hraley stands anyhow. While I have never seen or heard of one failing, the fact that they lock into place in so many diffferent locations just gives me the collective creeps.
