I will let you know tomorrow. Just checked weather for the morning... should be 28 degrees according to the latest.

Mid 20's this morning. Shorts, t-shirt and work shoes. (red wing sneakers) My legs and arms were slightly cool. Very tolerable for 11 miles. With jeans and a sweatshirt, or even a long sleeve shirt I believe I could ride for quite a while and be very comfortable.

Needed my riding boots for my toes (my lowers are on the way and would have helped) and I still need to get some better hand warmth.

I had a DOT half helmet on with a face shield and turtle fur around my neck and mouth.

I believe I'm good for the winter. Unless we get SNOW or ICEY conditions.

Over all I am very pleased with this suit and it is supposed to be 100% rain proof as well.

This was the best under $200 money that I have spent. It is going to be a wonderful winter.

I also ordered a set of painted lowers today.
I had my Mother-in-law sew some black jeans material onto both legs. Just because the riding suit WILL melt onto the pipes...you'll love the suit.... of course when you get a little older, you can add some heated gear to the suit as well.... I run my power cord out the left side pants leg zipper... (thank GAWD it a "two-way" zipper) fold the velcro tight, and I'm in a one man sauna

would you settle for 75 MPH and 28 degrees??
answer damn toasty!!!!
It's a sealed Thinsulate one piece unit.... sleves velcro tight... both pant legs have 2 way full lenght zippers ,with velcro sealing... front fipper has a double storm flap and a velcro sealing strip as well....
You might want to put your wallet and keys in the pocket on the left leg, as getting in and out of the suit takes a minute.

As with any cold weather ride... with you body toasty... your feet, hands, and face will seem colder than the rest (given the suit, that's a no-brainer) so you'll have to deal with THAT.... I have the gerbing gloves, and this year bought the jacket liner... so I'm EXTRA-toasty... next thing is the electric socks... I wear a balaclava
and a full face, so I'm good to go.... ok... I do look like an astronaut... and get weird looks for cagers

You wore a snow suit when it was 80 degrees? .......MAN and I thought I hated cold weather.

editor's note:
I know he meant 1980 (the year), I was trying to be funny.

I saw on one site's description that "the lining can't be removed, the suit has no body armor - think of it as an insulated rain suit".

Maybe, but you can get 'em from lots of other places. Google is your friend.
