Default Keeping your face warm

We were just in the our local HD store enjoying their 20% off sale. We picked up two heated liner jackets and one pair of heated gloves for me. I went out riding yesterday afternoon and even though my torso and hands were warm, my face was felling the effects of a 34 degee day at 60 mph, freezing.

How do you guys keep you face warm?

I ride year round to work, sometimes in the low 20's. Use a full face helmet with a pullover mask underneath. Someting long enough to tuck into your jacket. Turtle Fur makes one that is thin and stretchy up top but fleece from the nose down. Crack the shield 1 notch (about 1/4 inch ) to keep it from fogging. Works great for me.

The real answer to hard-core cold is a full face helmet with balaclava under it. If your ride isn't too long you can get away with one of those face covers as mentioned above with a half helmet.

I also go with a full face in the winter. I never thought I could ride with anything but a 1/2. It really makes all the difference in below 40degree weather.

I just bought a new Harley balaclava this past weekend when one of the dealers was having their 20% sale. Works great and the price was pretty good for the Hundred Dollar store. I had another balaclava but it was not long enough in the back of the neck and some cool air would sneak down.

I also just added the heated jacket liner and gloves a couple of weeks ago. Nice and toasty warm now.
