are the led on all the time? and brighter when flashing?
No, they only have one intensity level.
If a turn signal is not active, they stay on continuously like the turn signals.
When a turn signal is activated, the mirror LEDs on that side and the end LED on the windshield strip on that side both flash on and off. They don't get brighter. As long as that turn signal is still active, the rest of the windshield LEDs stay on steady, along with the LEDs on the other mirror and the stock turn signal on the other side.

I really like the idea of the split vision. Going to have to check those out. Full face helmet in the winter, it's hard to turn all the way around to see.
I think mirrors are a good way to emphasize a theme with your ride - skulls, flames, etc. Just don't get 'em too small. I tried some sharp flame mirrors, but couldn's see anything behind me cuz they were too small...
If those are the Tailfin mirrors,I've tried em and they were terrible. The mirror base
comes in contact with master cylinder, when you try turning for adjustment. Will
need an extention to raise the the base or mount the mirror in the clutch lever pin
position.
Yep, those are the tailfin mirrors. I have them on my RKC...they look damn fine, but you will need an adaptor to make them fit. Also, if you get a certain adaptor, the threaded stem is too short so you'll have to replace it with some new all-thread. Its a pain, but they do look great once they're on the bike.
