Had new mirrors bought before the bike even arrived.

I have changed the mirrors on every bike I have ever owned with the exception of my SG. It will be my next mod for the Ultra.

Changed mine out for the longer stem mirrors for better visibility. Mirrors are a safety thing not a vanity thing. Needed the longer stems to clear the shoulders. The fairing mirrors are worthless to me, zero visibility. But to each his own.

I left the fairing mirrors on my SG. They work great for me, plus I think they look good. Personally I have never liked most mirrors, they take away from the lines. My two cents worth.

Can't speak for everyone else, obviously, but I liked the looks of these and installed them -

LEDs on the mirrors and on each end of the windshield garnish flash with the turn signals on either side. I like the look, but like the improvement in safety and visibility even more - wiith a turn signal on, there's a lot 'o lights flashing.

Split visions are cool, but do not work with the RK Customs. All you can see is the top of the saddle bags since they don't adjust up enough. I know, I had to take mine back!

I changed mine to the fairing mount, only I moved them up and out approx 1/4" and that greatly improved the visability, and I like the clean look it gives. Just my .02

Raclefratz, LED lights look real sharp. Are the LED mirros and the windshield LED, HD products ?

All personal taste, just keep in mind the stem length.

Get em to short and you may not be able to see well.

Just my .02,

Here is what I am looking at:
If those are the Tailfin mirrors,I've tried em and they were terrible. The mirror base
comes in contact with master cylinder, when you try turning for adjustment. Will
need an extention to raise the the base or mount the mirror in the clutch lever pin
position.
