Wish I'd have known that! I just took delivery of a copy. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet with the holidays and all. It looks interesting though!

Ride Safe,

We have the DVD and I wouldn't want to sell it. Money well spent, especially for my wife, who after her first 7 months of riding has become a very good rider. We'll take it with the laptop to our 'practice' parking lot, with all our mini orange (!) cones, to practice different sections. I'm never to proud to practice more. Remember... going fast and straight is easy, going slow and steady is the hard part.

Yachtman.
I agree 1000%. when I decided to sell my boyhood dream car "Porsche" and get an Harley Davidson I didn't have a license or a permit. Just drove up to the dealer and I got my 07 RKC since the safety course were not being held at the local community college due to winter time. I was introduced to the "Ride Like A Pro" DVD. By practicing the the technique discuss and the time chapter members practice together I was able to pass my test without any problem. Now even when it's in the 30's dry of course and want to ride I head to the school grounds close to me and practice.

Since several of the chapter members are really into the "Motor Officers" rodeo's we acquired one of their course and mapped it out. As mentioned going straing and fast is easy. Going 10mph and slower is an art not to mention pulling a 18' circle turn instantly notice. Lock to lock is no joke. If you can do that in split second decision then you can say you can ride. That's my goal is up coming year.

By the "ladies of Harley" in our chapter are fired up having our monthly practice session.

Why don't you just buy it from Motorman instead of buying it used? He puts a lot of effort and time in to making these.

And he is a good guy as well. I got to talk to him a little at Biketoberfest and he is genuine - the real deal. I had been riding for 29 years the first time I watched one of his DVDs and the information on there is pure gold.

Roadking1893,

Our course instructor is a teacher for the Miami Dade PD and also trains the MD Fire Rescue. He can 'ride'!

I've looked at the various 'patterns' in this link. Amazing!

http://www.motorcops.com/police_trai...nepatterns.asp

or

www.motorcops.com

Try some of those............ !!!!

I'm a HOG member and last season passed the 'beginer' and 'advanced' in one morning. (the pattern HD HOG uses is sorta difficult) The other members were impressed.......... so was I!!!! Almost shocked!! But I then realized how much just a little practice of 'Motorman's DVD' had done for me, after having had a 30 year hiatus from riding.

Worth 'all' the money!
