Default "Slip on's"

I have a simple question, but Im sure the answer's arnt so simple......I am really looking for that "deep" sound, I have a 09 Street Glide, all stock, I cant afford a new system, so would slip on's give me the sound Im looking for? And........if adding slip on's, do I have to have the system adjusted? ...Im not looking for performence changes just sound..........Thank you in advance.....Will

I'm buying an 09 as well and have heard Rineharts as well as V&H ovals. I ordered the Rines cause they were a little lower in there rumble and as soon as V&H comes out with there headers I'm gonna put those on as well. As far as just adding slip ons you shouldn't have to modify any thing else. Hope this helps.

IMO I would have waited till I could afford the whole package. Air/fuel management/slip ons. Rinehart has some nice ones.

Great bike You have there! I will get mine 1 of April 09

I have heard the Rush with 2" baffles and they were pretty good. Fuelmoto also has their Jackpot dynotuned mufflers. On the dyno it improved performance. Give Jamie @ Fuelmoto a call.
I like loud so Im going with the Rush with either the 2.25 baffles or the Thunder Monster baffles.

I have the 2" rush slip ons. Nothing else has to be done with these. With these you can change the baffles to either bigger or smaller. If you go bigger you will have to make some changes. I have about 7000 miles on mine they sound better when they get broken in. These will work untill later on when I can afford true duals and the warrenty is up.

I recently installed Rinehart Slip Ons on my 09 FLHX. They fit perfectly, sound even better. I'm not planning on adding an air cleaner or fuel management system. I have absolutely NO popping on decel or anywhere else.

The Rushs for the money, sound good. Wife has them on her Heritage and we are thinking about changing the baffles to the 2s, she likes whar she's got, but heard the 2s and likes that deep sound better.

I have tried a few differant slipons and I like the Rineharts the best. Nice and 'throaty' and a REALLY nice bark when you twist the wick. Check out Eastern Performance for a good deal.
