You gotta be kidding me - 5 pages is all there is here? I'm starting another oil thread.
Find an Evo tin air cleaner cover with the spacer and it will bolt on and you'll be rid of that homely TC ham can. Or find a replacement center for an Evo cover and bolt it on - it will leave the entire filter exposed. Don't worry about rain, if it's raining hard enough to water down your engine you're probably in a lake.

Can a Dyna Cover bolt right up to a Big Sucker intake? Do you have to purchase the cover from the Dyna parts manual? I don't see it in the assessory catalog..Rich

I just picked up a Yaffe "Mo Flo" myself.
I'm gonna powdercoat it black and back up the front vents with some silver screen.

I'm not real knowledgable in this department... Is there any "automotive" advantage/disadvantage to getting rid of the football and going with an uncovered filter or some aftermarket solution that channels air directly to the intake? Will the bike run any differently at all? How? It seems obvious that more air will reach the engine without the football covering the filter, but does that matter? Or is it strictly a matter of appearance?

Thanks!
