I have the HD round cover as well and added a skull insert. It looks pretty good to me. It seems to me though that the round cover to too tight a fit around the filter. I could be wrong but it would seem to limit the air entering the filter and limit it to entering only at the cut-out at the bottom. My filter gets real dirty is just that one spot and will need to be changed more often.

I just installed the roland sands contrast cut air cleaner on Monday. No pics yet, but it looks great, and believe it will perform even better since it allows the engine to breath even more. It is pretty darn expensive though - I guess they're proud of them!!

well, lets see...you have the $100 variety, the $300 variety, and then the $600 variety....guess it depends on what you like, what you want it to do, and how much you want to spend...lol

I didn't mind the football, either. I had a Joker Machine chrome insert for it, and thought it looked fine, until I bought the D&M kit. It changed the look of the bike completely. I love it.

I prefer to go with the open element and let it suck in all the fresh air it can.

Ever since I bought this bike I've been thinking about getting rid of the football...its been 6 years now with it on...guess I'll keep it.

I just put on a Vivid Black one and the 105th billet cover. Really like it.
