They look good but if you get a flat your only option is a tow truck....... can't plug a flat with them so can be real expensive if you're in the boonies.

Spoke wheels come with tube type tires, instead of tubeless tires. To repair a flat you have to remove the tire from the wheel and patch/replace the tube. You can't just plug the tire to repair the leak. The reason for useing a tube inside the tires is because most spoke wheels are not made air tight. There are a few on the market that are but very expensive and hard to find................... so how's the riding in Saudi ?

Default 40 spoke wheels

IF you check with American Wire Wheel, they vulcanize the wheels to run tubeless. I just got a quote from them in going to 18 in. wheels. they are expensive. but sure do look sweet.

My last two sets of spoke wheels have been tubeless. First set was from Ameican Wire and this current set is from DNA. AWW is on the high end, but my DNA set were very affordable. Wheel Works will also seal any spoke wheel. I think it is like $40 per wheel.

I went with the 52 fatty spoke DNA wheels and love em! Spokes are very taditional I think and the fattys are a breeze to clean. These guys have awsome prices and great service.http://kcint.zoovy.com/
