Always stored on jack! Least amount of stress you can put on the seals. Go for it, you won't have any problems.

OK how many 12 packs do I have to buy my buddies to lift the bike on them?

store mine on a lift also.I would assume that the flat spots from leaving it on the ground would go away after a few miles anyway

I've often wondered, if the jack was not functional in the spring how in the hell would you get the bike off the jack? BTW, I store mine in the basement on a Sears jack and have lost a few minutes of sleep over this.

I store mine in a shed on a jack. I go out once a week and adjust the jack leaving just a little pressure on the forks. I also turn the wheels so they are not resting on the same spot.

Mine is stored on the jack. No problems with seals or anything else. Ooops....there is one problem....I would rather be riding it.
