Default Going from 16" to 18" wheels-question

I am considering going to 80 spoke wheels on my Road King and am also considering going to 18" and replacing my tires. Aside from the extra cost, what advantage or dis-advange do you see? Ride, handling, looks, etc.?
I would love a picture of you bike if you have done this, but need imput regardless.
Thanks,
Marsh

I had 18/80 spokes on my 07 SG -- it rode much better with the 18's. They were DNA 18/80 spokes -- a little hard to keep clean -- I had the tubeless version I think the total set was less than 1k---If i were to do it again I think I would go for the 40 spoke easier to keep clean and IMHO a much better look -- I like the 21/18 set up now.

I have the 18/80 spoke rear wheel sitting in my garage --- sombody used to much loctite on it and I cannot get the studs out---you can have it really really really cheap

Lynn, I might be interested in the Really, really really cheap price, but I can't figure out what studs are loctited.????
As for keeping clean, I find that S200 cleans them almost by them selves.
