Default Lock leather bags?

Oh, how do I ask this without sounding stupid. Took delivery on my 09RKC last week, leather bags. I opted not for the RK which has hard bags, which of course lock.

Anyone ever come up with something or some way to secure leather bags?

Tkx!

I dont even lock the hard bags. What do ya keep in there? I figure if someone really wants to get in it they'd just pry it open with something and screw my bags all up.

That's why I like the hardbags, but of course you don't have those. The point raised above is valid though - they'll get in either way and all you'll have is broken/messed up bags. So just don't leave your expensive stuff in the bags is the best policy. If you stay at a Motel take the bags off and carry them in with you for that matter. They're very easy to remove and that gives you peace of mind.

JD533 it sounds like your guy is purchasing through Mid-USA as they are the "Exclusive" distributor of the bag and tour pack locks. They had a sale last month on them and ran out real fast (or they had low inventory to start). That prompted me to go direct to the manufacture. I sell quite a few of these kits a month and have no problems getting my orders out within a day or two. (the Ebay link posted earlier is mine)

Check out this site - http://inertiawrx.com/
As far as why lock the bags, it is not so much that I keep valuables in them but to help keep the bags themselves.
I have the locks on my bags on my Heritage - I believe it helps to deter the wannabe thief - And you are correct -If they want it bad enough they will get it -
