I like to use a couple of old blankets.

 

get one of those drop lights put a 40 watt bulb in it and put that under your cover
that will keep all moisture off bike.

 

As others do I top off gas, add stabil, plug battery tender, and cover with bed sheets.

I also put some moth ***** around bike to keep mice away.

Several years ago some mice made pretty nice nests in sections on my Triumph - the following year I tried the moth ***** and fine ever since.
