There are about 40 members that have recommended the wheeldock center stand. No one has recommended the HD stand that I saw. HD stand is adjustable and that is a plus. I spoke to a guy in Daytona, he was sitting on his bike with it up on the HD stand. He said he liked it but he had to get HD to put it on. Complicated install according to him. I went with the wheeldock and ordered yesterday as part of the Forums group discount. Should be about $240 shipped. HD stand is about $325.

Harley Stand on mine - dealer installed when I bought it. Other than taking a while to figure out the best method to pull back onto it, I'm fine with it and use it all the time. Someday I'll run across someone on the road with a Wheeldock to compare notes with.

Wheeldock all the way.
I had a HD stand, I installed it. Not that it was hard. Just hard to get it up on the stand.
And way hard to get it off.
Wheeldock works.

On the following thread there are a lot of my customers who have and use my center stand and a lot of information posted concerning ground clearance use with a lifting jack etc. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=290820 The Christmas sale is in full swing and there is time to get one for Christmas at a 20% savings.

I'd read about the centerstands on this forum before I received the bike. The Wheeldock was highly recommended and was the first thing I put on the Road King. I park in a garage with other bikes and on the centerstand there's more room to move between the bikes and it makes it easier to clean and shine. I can be in the saddle, push the centerstand down with my left foot and put the bike on it without getting off. I put the bike in gear when ever I park, jiffy stand or centerstand. You can also ride off the Wheeldock centerstand.

I have a WheelDock and it works very well. Gotta watch uneven pavement I cranked my '08 Road King up and went to put my helmet on and watched it topple over, should've known better to leave it running on the stand. It won't happen again.

I think you would love the Wheeldock, it is well made and easy to get the bike on. Easy to install, get the chrome. Doesn't get in the way of a lift or anything.
