Default Handlebar wire extensions

I'm getting ready to replace my stock bars with a set of Wild1 508s and I'll be running the wires internally.

Will I need to extend the wires or will the stock length reach? I have a 2007 RK Custom. I'm also replacing the cables with stainless.

Thanks.

I did 518's on my 01 RKC I had to extend all the wires. You like the chubbies--was the best thing I ever did on my RKC!

I put the 508's on my '07 Road King Classic and had to extend the wiring about 2 inches. It seems that MoCo shortened the wiring that year whereas in previous years it would work OK.

For cables, we used the stock length clutch cable and +2 inch throttle/idle cables and brake lines. I felt like that was too short and wished we had gone to +4 on those. The clutch cable worked OK in stock length though.

One question, the cruise cable, do I have to buy a special cruise cable with the cruise switch already on it or does any cable work? What cables do you recommend? Thanks.
