Default road glide head light ,??????

My 07 road glide, has what appears to be dust or some type of overspray inside the head light assemblies. Not the plastic cover, but inside the head light. The out side of the light are clean and smooth.
Anyone else have this issue, or suggestions on how to clean them out????
Even the chrome relfector part of the lifht is dull and dingy.
thanks ....

it probably is dirty and all of it needs polishing, since air and moisture do get in there.

Yea, it does look like dust and moister build up, but short of taking the fairing off and removing the head light bulbs, there still is no real way to get in there...

You can remove the lense and clean it...... I clean mine about once a month with Novus 1 cleaner, same cleaner and polish for my winshield

gotcha on the lens cover, but my problem is inside the sealed beam area, the mirror part inside the head lamps is dull and the inside of the lens looks like it has a build up of over spray.
Anyone else's done this. Mine is just over a year old, with 16k miles.

thanks

Sounds like what the EG spots do from time-to-time. Are they sealed beam or elements? If they are elements, pull em and clean the insides with (vinegar?....not alcohol as it will bugger up the reflective coating). Dry *thoroughly* before re-assembly.

edit: looking at the online catalog, the RG appears to use replaceable halogen bulb (elements). So you should be able to clean the lenses and reflector optics.
