Default Sending new HD floaters to get chromed

As I have posted, I had my 09 stockers done by chrome pros, had the dealer install the teardrop floaters when they mounted the tires on the rims. The rims make the HD chrome look like $hit, I will send the rotors to chrome pros to get teh same treatment the rims got, just a heads up for anyone contemplating this mod.

You are going to chrome your rotors? Don't. Have them polished, they are stainless steel.

Brake Rotor Chrome Polished $ 65

From their site. I have always been told that the chrome is too hard for rotors, thus the pads will not grab and bike won't stop. Actual chrome rotors are for show bikes.

Do some more homework.

Sure they can chrome it but it will eventually wear through and peel. It will then look like chit.

Also, when the buff the rotor's they may cause high and low spots which will make the brakes "pulse". Been there, done that, spent my money twice!!!!

Chrome pros and others do not "chrome" the rotors. They are all polished. Thats why the website says chrome POLISH.

I should have my 09 StreetGlide wheels with polised rotors back next week from Classic Componets.
