Default Anyone good at tuning PCIII USB?

Anyone good with tuning tips for PC III? Just ordered one and had it mapped for my bike with my SE slipons and Stage I air filter. Got everything on today and it seems to be having performance issues. Can anyone help? Road well going down the road until I shifted to high gear at about 65mph and gave it a twist and it seemed dead, barely got to 68 mph. Didnt want to accelerate after that.

I would ride to dealer and let them ck it out. Do you have a laptop, get them to show you how to ck tuning while it's on bike. Or download the power commander software from website. http://powercommander.com . First thing I would ck is the throttle position.

Call FuelMotoUsa befor doing anything, them guys for what i hear know what they are doing. Maybe they screwed up and loaded wrong map. if not load software off power comander site, check to see your running right map. a canned map with your set up should be close enough to not have them issues.

I maybe wrong here, but this almost sounds like the throttle position is not set correctly on the PCIII.

I bought my pipes, air cleaner based on what maps were available . You could try different maps and hope one gets close but you should have it mapped by a dynojet center for best performance.

I think HD Renegade is correct or mostly correct at least. I would call Fuel Moto and let them know. If you have a laptop you can use the PCIII program to get the map off of your PCIII and then e-mail to Fuel Moto so they can see if it is OK or screwed up. If it checks out as OK it is either a hardware problem with the PCIII unit itself or something that is wrong elsewhere in the bike. My own guess is that it is a simple quick fix with the software.

Changed the map and reset the throttle position. Seems to be better now. Will know more in a day or two as it is cold, windy and rainy here today. Only took a short ride but saw 90 mph just fine!

Find a pro tuner and get it hooked up to a DYNO!
