J & S jack only one thing to say!!

I know what you are saying however, I bought the Harbor Freight version and it works great also. The steel components are very strong, the fasteners are of good quality. I am sure it is not as good as yours but, I only paid $79.00 for mine and I am very pleased with it. I am not flaming on you or disrespecting you in any way. It's just MHO.

The J&S Jack is built like a battleship. I think it weighs in at around 75-80 lbs. It won't bend, flex or crash. It does what it says and it never has to look back. That is not bragging, just the truth. Can you buy cheaper jacks out there? Yes. Can you buy a better jack? I doubt it. Since I have not used all the other jacks out there I can not say it is the best in the world.
But for my $400.00, it is the only jack I have ever bought and used. You buy this one for a lifetime, not two years. I talk to lots of riders who buy a cheaper jack and most complain about them being flimsy or breaking with a year or two. If you can afford it... buy quality. That is pretty much why we are driving a Harley anyway, isn't it?

I have a small garage so I store my SG on my J & S jack most of the time.
That way I can move it anytime and anywhere I want.
Up here in Mi. its on the jack all winter long for storage.
You dont need any straps or anything to tie it down.
I have had it at its highest point and climbed all over it.
IMO J & S is the only way to go.
Also get the oil pan adapter, makes changing oil alot easier.
