Anyone know how tall you can go with ape's on an 07 Roadking without going to longer cables?

 

i just put 10'' wild chubbies on 08 r. g. ...everything worked, but i dont think 12'' would ,at least for the brake line... i e-mailed wild chubby before i made my decision on what bars to use. they will tell you what changes need to be made

 

No, not a real ape anyway. Maybe some 10 inch longhorns, but i feel that if its not at least 16" its not an ape. Otherwise its just handlebars

 

Anything over 10" you might want to consider new cables.

If you don't have to change the cables, you're putting monkey hangers on.
