Baffled? Performance? Sound? Big City Thunder?
Okay, after much reading and listening I was convinced to change my bub7's TD's with Crossover to the Fat Cats... I admit the performance is quite improved... and that is without a tune; but, here is my problem. I really am not happy with the sound. I know this is highly subjective and personal, but the Bub7's had the sound I really like, they are deep and quiet when going easy, and bark loud when you hammer it. Now, please for all you folks who love the sound of the Fat Cats this is not meant negatively so please take no offense.
So here is the question... has anyone tried Big City Thunder in a Fat Cat... Here is the link if you are unfamilar with them and interested in them. http://bigcitythunder.com/pages/dynotest.html
My only experience with them was when I had a Vulcan 1600, changed the pipes to HardKrome and I could not deal with how loud the pipes were. I spoke to the folks at Big City and they were incredibly great to deal with. Installing their baffle did the trick and all was well.
Now I know my King is not a Vulcan and I know my Fat Cats are not HardKrome-- Any help or experience would be appreciated... one more question-- When is the weather going to break??? I'm in withdrawal!!!
