Sounds great to me. My last bike had Bridgestones and I only 6500 on the rear before I had to change it. I will be thrilled if I get 15 out of the rear.

10k on my rear tire and it needs replacing. It has been mentioned in this forum that without the IDS the rear tire will wear much faster.

I believe it; my FLHRS is not equipped with an IDS.

If you don't want to oder them through a catalog, you can get better pricing finding an indy.
At least it's worked for me.

I have 19,572 on the front and am changing the rear at 9,970. I have an 04 EGC and haul a lot on it during the summer, trips, rallys, road trip etc... I use Avon Venom X and would not use a Dunflop to save my life. Had personal probs. with them and I have sworn them off for life for my rides and vehicles. My 2 cents.

I tend think the best tires go about 7500 miles... Funny on how people look at things.

Default 20k on front tire, 15k on back, any better tires

'05 EGC with 33,000+ miles, mostly 2-up riding. Original tire still on the front, changed the rear tire at a little over 17,000 (both have 1-2K left). I just bought a new set of 402s (wide white walls) from American Motorcycle Tire for around $270. delivered.

Rear tire on my '05 E-G Classic would go about 15k with Dunlops.

Front tire? About 25-27k...
