not to bust your chops but you're comparing apples to oranges when you say 40 vs 250. the 250 kit includes a whole lot more stuff, like the taillight bar and turn signals for instance. if all you wanted was something to move your plate below the taillight, there is a guy here on the forum who makes them for 25 (last time i checked anyway).

for a taillight lens that has a bottom cut out to illuminate your plate, try looking on ebay for seller s0rgys (yes thats a zero) he usually has them in stock, and if not, give him a call and he'll get you one. good guy.

for a different look, i went with fireman joes side mount plate relocater. http://www.firemanjoes.com its a little more pricey at around 100 bucks, but i like it.

J & P has them in stock was at their Daytona store just last week and bought one it was $30. I bought the relo plate myself and love the look of the clean fender got rid of the grab rail also, now just to decide how to plug the holes. You are gonna love the plate under the light.
