Default Custom FLHX Exhaust....

I've always liked "Dump" style pipes. i'm saving for a street glide and i'm interested in a unique exhaust system. has anyone ever come across any turn down, "dump" style pipes for a FLHX? if so, i would love to see pics. can't say i know that it'd look good, cause i've never seen it.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for.
These guys will turn the exit port any way you want it.

I'd like to see the exhaust you 2 refer to. I'm not picturing it.

Is it like the "Puffer" exhaust that Klock uses so much?

i mean, i don't have a prob really with aftermarket pipes they have out now for street glides. i've always loved those turn down, "thumper" style pipes. i just don't know exactly how they'd look on a bagger. i would love to see a pic with some custom made pipes like that. plus i wonder what it'd make the bike look like from the rear with no pipes comin out. might look naked. still would love to see a pic. but i can't find anybody who even makes something like that.

Nowwwwwww I understand what you're wanting!
The reason you don't see these on a bagger is because it doesn't serve the purpose of a "touring bike".
I've seen a set, not the ones you posted, but similar...on a Standard.
I believeeeeee they were Martin Brothers.
If I'm not mistaken, the pipe for a Dyna will fit the touring bike. The motor/trans is the same location for both.

YES. something this style. i wish there were better pics on the site. i'd like to see what it looks like from the back. i'm sure if the bike was lowered a little it wouldn't look as naked from the back
