Geezer,

I'm happy that you're having a good experieince with Saddlemen. My first seat was custom ordered over the phone and was a super lemon. Then my second seat turned out worse than my first seat. SUPER LEMON #2. They told me they couldn't meet my high expectations. All I wanted was a seat that fit and would be comfortable. They couldn't make a seat that fits my bike! Tried to tell me my RK must be different. HA!! And through all of this the customer service was..... well it's a word I can't use here. They had two opportunities to make me a happy camper. And as everyone has experienced....if I'm happy with a product, I'm glad to tell everyone. Mustang would be a great example!!

IF I'M PISSED WITH A ( ? ), AFTER NUMEROUS TRYS,....WELL I'M GOING TO MAKE SURE I TELL EVERYONE AND THEIR FRIEND, AND THEIR FRIEND AND SO ON.......

I HAVE A BIG MOUTH WHEN I'M SREWED!!

So anyway, where were we?

[QUOTE=StreetGeezer;4221796]With all due respects to Yachtman and any others who've had problems with Saddlemen, there are always lemons out there.

I've got a Saddlemen and the quality is excellent and it fits like a champ.

Convinced me! I have an '09 RKC...after this, I may hold out for the Corbin Solo. I was about to pull the trigger on the Mustang.

In case anyone with an '09 RKC is wanting a Corbin, I emailed them a few days ago to ask when they'd have the seats for this bike. Here is their response.

Hello,

Thanks for writing. Right now the seats for the Road King are on the
back burner temporarily until we can get the bike in for a length of
time. Hopefully we'll have these in time for Feb. or March but
nothing is certain.

Estimated timeframe for the seats to be available will be 2-3 months
but that is subject to change.

If you'd like, I can add your email address to a list to be notified
when these parts come out. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Regards,
Michael Alva
Corbin Saddles

I'm a bit unclear about the time frame because it gives two different estimates. Either way, I'll have to wait if I want one.

You guys sure have some great looking bikes! I love seeing all the pics!

To Yachtman - I said with all due respects but since you're yelling about this, I pull that courtesy. As I said, there are lemons then there is lemonade. You got a lemon, doesn't mean everyone will. My opinion, your opinion. Let the other guys decide for themselves and cool your jets.

I put a Sundowner solo seat on my '03 RK. Far and away the most comfortable and, IMO, the best looking seat I've ever had. Too bad they don't make these yet to fit bikes with the 6 gallon tanks.
