Anyway, once you remove your 2-up, the solo slides on the frame mounting bracket in the front. The back of the seat attaches via the supplied seat bracket onto the fender. The Mounting nuts are on the fender already (7/16 wrench I believe). Tighten and go. Bike has plastic, white washers (quite large) to protect fender from the seat bracket. It's not the most beautiful setup. If you want to clean up the look, I recommend you order the Mustang chrome Mounting Nuts (P/N 78032) or something similar to attach the seat to the fender and the Mustang Mini Fender Bib (P/N 78064) to protect the fender and cover the huge plastic washers. I just ordered mine from Dennis Kirk - $8 for each part.
As far as the install...it was a pain in the neck getting the seat to attach to the front bracket. (my other seats are a breeze) I did finally get it to catch, but I about threw the seat across the garage in frustration. My Dealer recently added a security system and the wiring seemed to be the issue as it's bulk seemed to be causing me from getting the front of the seat down low enough to catch under the bracket. Other than that, I'm very happy with the Mustang quality, looks and comfort.
Hope that helps!
