Corbin Solo, for looks and ride. Can't go wrong! Buy a good used one from FleaBay

 

Just so I'm clear, is the Signature Series seat, a Sundowner solo?

I definitely like the Mustang w/ Backrest, and the ability to fold over to allow easier boarding is a huge plus for me. One concern is the mounting of the attaching hardware. Do all Mustangs have two fender mounts? And, is this something I can do myself, or will I need a shop to install any necessary pieces.

Right now, I have the stock seat, w/ a Sundowner two up when the wife rides. Easily swappable, but I like the looks of a solo seat when I'm tripping by myself.

No. The Signature replaces the Sundowner solo since 2008.

 

Thanks to all the responses on this thread, I ordered the Mustang solo for my '07 RKC yesterday... Unfortunately, she's off to paint, so it'll just have to sit for a while. With that, I'll be comfy as hell when I fire her up in a month or so. =)

I'm sure that any Mustang seat you purchase for your new ride will be as easy to mount as it was for me. Just unbolted my seat and mounted the new one on.

And as a side note, I STILL LOVE MY MUSTANG SOLO W/BACKREST!!

It's gotten more comfortable each and every time I ride it.

after looking at all the options for the 09's, I'm happy I bought the danny gray....got more miles on her since my last post and am getting happier and happier with it. looks good too...................Dog
