I read the manual but can't find it, is it possible to scan the preset FM stations from the right hand control? I realize it will do a normal scan of strong stations but can't figure out how to easily scan my presets and change to another preset without taking my hand off the bars.. ?? Thanks

 

Yes you can, but you still have to take your hands off the handlebars.

"Hold the More soft key for approximately 3 seconds"

It's on page 89 of the '08 owners manual, under the title "Preset SCAN Tuning".

 

One of the major shortfalls of the current radio, IMO.

 

I have a favorite station, never mess with it. Keep those hands on the bars, screw with the radio after you're stopped. Just sayin.

 

Thanks guys, yes, I saw that it can be done from the soft keys, I thought I was missing something. I agree, changing presets and volume would be my top 2 choices from the hand controls.. Take care
