HD "Sidekick" seat don't fit!!??!?

I got a Sidekick seat today. It does not fit my 2010 FLHX. There is a 1/2 inch gap between the nose of the seat and the console when the seat is in its most forward position on the gas tank bracket. No way this seat is going further forward. This has nothing to do with the adjustable fender tab on the rear of the seat. So, there are indeed issues with some of these seats.
