thats why I bought mine (to keep it off the tires for the winter) after trying it out I dont feel comfortable leaving it up all winter

you have to get it at the right spot to not teeter and even then I had to use little pieces of wood strips to level it to perfection. I dont care for my yellow jack.

Is there an easy-to-use device to just get the front tire slightly off the ground? I have a sears-type lift for more serious wrenching, but would like something I could use after every ride to get the front tire off the ground. It would make cleaning the wheel/rotor/caliper so much easier. Thanks. Also, anyone have a link to the in-ground lift shown above?

I have been using the Sears yellow jack for the past year and love it. Only takes about 15 seconds to get either front or rear tire in the air to do cleaning, servicing, etc. I use it for both RKC and Ultra and have never had a problem. You can spend more, but you don't have to.

i have the yellow sears jack i like it,but unless you have a wheel chock that will hold your bike upright it is a pain to set on your bike and try to put it under your bike by yourself.... cause the kick stand is in the way

I have the yellow craftsman and it is just okay. Very limited in use and not able to lift the bike as high as I'd like. Just bought a J&S and it is absolutely wonderful!!!!
