Default Cost for painting inner fairing?

I'm wondering what folks are paying to get their inner fairing painted to match the bike color? Thanks.

All depends on who does the removal and install of the fairings. You can get an inner fairing shipped to you already painted in OEM colors from several sites as a trade program. They ship you a painted piece, you swap it out and ship them back your OEM piece and they are around $600 I believe

I bought a new take off fairing Im having painted gloss black. I will sell the current fairing after I install the new painted one. Total cost with my own time removing and installing the painted one should be around $300.00 after selling mine.

If you remove the inner fairing and cap, between $100-$200 depending on the shop and whether your color is a three-stage or two-stage (base coat/clear coat) color.

Suggestion: Ride your bike to a good auto body shop and get a quote.

There are PPG paint codes for most of the HD colors. Otherwise, the HD paint and activator will cost about $100.

I became buddies with the guy that shot my SG fender, TP and outer fairing, so when I wanted the inner fairing shot he did it for free.

You can buy a color matched inner directly from a dealer for cheaper than $600. Last year they were in the parts book for $499.

I think Fatbaggers inners go for $350 or so, and they come with the cap and buttons, bezel painted. The harley ones charge extra for that.

I'm getting a factory painted one from HD so I know it will match perfectly. This time of year you can get 15 to 20 percent off at dealerships. I'm getting 20 percent off so it will cost $427. But I will be selling my old one on Ebay for $100 or more. Net cost - $325 to $300.

Yep, good call. Our local dealer is having a 15% off parts & accessories sale this weekend. May have to go order one up.
