The stock RK bars made my shoulders ache after long rides. I switched to the Heritage bars, and what a difference. How many other RK owners have done the same?

 

I switched at my 1000 mile service. The stock bars suck.

 

I switched after about a year of riding with the stock bars. Actually took me a while to adjust to the narrower feel. The Heritage bars feel much more comfortable and I'm glad I did it.

That's my next add-on. My daughter got me a gift card at my dealer for the price of the bars. Gotta love the kids.

 

Had mine on for about 3 years. Never looked back.

 

I did it at 1k service, along with chroming everything on the handlebars and adding the Sundowner, You'll think you bought a better bike. While your at it add the driver backrest

 

I can't stand the stock bars. I've been looking for something different. Do you have to change the cables or brake line when switching to the Heritage bars?

 

No you definately do not have to change any cables or wires i know from putting them on two defferent road king but i'm putting beach bars on mine....They're more comfortable to me

 

I also put the Heritage bars on. A good move for me at 5' 10". However, when I changed to the Sundowner seat, I am now in a slightly uncomforable position. With just a few hundred mile on the Sundowner, I'm not ready to give up. Wonder if the stock bars with Sundowner is a good combo.

I went through about three different bars before I found the ones I like best. Wild ones, Chubby's Knuckle Bars. I think W508 is the number. I'm 6'-4" and I like my arms streched out some and these bars are perfect. They look like they belong, too!!
