RE: How many RK owners have switched to Heritage handlebars?
I put Dyna Wide Glide on my 07 before I even left the dealer. The Herritage bars put my wrist at an akward angle. They said the Dyna bars was the most you could go without changing cables. At 5ft 7in they fit me great!
I have been hearing alot about the heritage bars for the Road King. I have a 2009 RKC (first harley). I understand that the heritage bars have an approx. 12" rise, and that no new cabling is needed to make the switch. I really want the Carlini 12.5" gangster apes, so should this mean that any other bar with similiar dimensions should work without cabling?
I switched to Heritage bars after 3 days of riding the bike (RK) back in 01. Made a huge difference. Have since sold the bike and they are still on there. (sold bike to a co worker last year)
