Faulty Ignition/Spark Plug Wires

HD bikes are VERY sensitive to plug wire changes as there is something in the spark system that is calibrated to the type of wires HD uses, almost any other type will make the bike toss all sorts of codes. I have posted about it before but right now I am too tired to go digging for the exact reason
Kind of like Toyota and O2 sensors, it is OEM or good luck, the only thing that comes close to working is a Denso and that is because they make the OEM

Thats a great idea I’m going to look into that seeing as an Alleged upgrade in wire only causes issues so now that that’s been established covers sound good about now ! I have some of the heat shielding wraps but my oem plug boots won’t clear them so to summit racing I will go once I get my cam plate bearings in place today ! Thanks for all the input

Do people think about changing the electric wire to aftermarket on their home appliances like TVs, washing machines etc to get "better performance or looks"?
Im sure there are some good wires out there for people who want the looks but they won't deliver electricity to the spark plugs any better or more reliably then OEM no matter what the marketing dept says at the aftermarket company.
