Can you download the whole catalog or do you mean search the HD accessories web page? If you can DL one can you point me to it? Thanks

The dealer I bought my ride from has been pretty good so far but they are 1 1/2 hours away one way, and I've only been there 4 times. As far as the catalog, I could go out of my way and go to the dealer I bought it from or way out of my town but I shouldn't have to. I don't see on the Harley web site where you can get one by mail. Hell $5.00, they will make that back 1000 fold in the parts I will eventually buy. My friends and I are just tired of Harley treating us like second class citizens. As far as who else I might try, I like Big Dog. And yes they have had problems but from my friends who own them, much less problems then the friends who own Harleys. And hell, it's a chopper! I've been loyal, why can't they do the same?

And yes all required services done by the dealerships. I wash it, I check the tires, I fill it with gas, I let them do the rest. I must, the warranty requires it. My ride has all harley accessories, no aftermarket what so ever. Always will.
Your warranty "REQUIRES" it?

Who in the sam hill told you THAT?

I don't understand why the $5 bothers you. Besides buying one of their bikes which is fine...you pay the money and get a great bike (over priced)...HD fans support HD by giving the tons of money for stuff they don't even make. You see these HD fans every day, wrapped from head to toe in everything Harley. HD makes motorcycles. They don't make soap, after shave, sun glasses, boots, underware, belts... So if you are willing to support HD by giving them your money for all this stuff, what's another $5 for a book?

He said Bruce Rossmeyer 'and' Harley Davidson are now charging for them. I said I was a national and a local H.O.G member and have been for years, I even produced both cards to prove it. I told him I have "never" had to pay for an accessories catalog in the past, EVER!!! I looked him in the face and said, "just another Harley rip off, thanks for nothing" and I walked out, disgusted. It didn't even matter that I've been paying dues to the national and local H.O.G. chapters for years. It didn't matter that I and my family have spent THOUSANDS of dollars in that stealership over the years, he even knew me by my first name. It seems to me that Harley Davidson is doing nothing but getting on the airline band wagon, charging you for 'everything' that they could possibly get out of you. This is why I've talked to and know so many Harley riders who are becoming more and more disgusted with HD to the point of where they are riding their last Harley motorcycle. I am too. When does it end?
I would have told him to stick it up his FAT ***.

They got stacks of them at Sturgis (at the Rapid City convention center) - just pick one up there and mail it home with the dirty laundry.

It's not the money, it's the principal. 'I have' picked up catalogs at this very same stealership in the past, for free. This is why I was dumbfounded. I figured here we go, another new "cost effective" policy for Harley Davidson. It's a paper book for Christ sake,(no blasphemy intended). I don't wear Harley apperal. I buy American made leathers. All their stuff is made in China. In case I do decide to get rid of my current ride, I would look ridiculous riding a Big Dog chopper wearing a Harley Davidson leather jacket. Besides, that's free advertising for them. There supposed to pay for that stuff. I'm not worring about it, I'll find one somewhere. I just though it would be an interesting post.
