stock they are real loud, but smartpartz.com makes a baffle for them easy mod.

I had mine ceramic coated, your right they didn't offer em in black, the smartpartz baffles gave my friends I ride with a big break.

BLACK Rush True Duals ($315.00 thru Ronnie @ Lewis) and Screaming Eagle heat shields powder coated black on a set of BobVic's.. Awesome..

I sent my Fatcat to Jet-hot to be ceramic coated black. For those of you thinking of doing that, don't expect it to be as good of a finish as what a pipe would look like if it came from the manufacturer black. To be honest, I really wanted black, but I'm kinda sorry I went the ceramic coating route. Should have just ordered another black Fatcat. The Jet-hot coating cost me over $400 with shipping, and the finish isn't very good. Pretty much looks like it would if I sprayed it with a can of spray paint. Imperfections all over the place. On the bright side of things, at least I have the temperature reduction that comes with the ceramic coating. I wouldn't do it again though.
