Default Headlight Modulator

I don't have one yet, but I am ordering this one, http://www.comagination.com/modHarley.htm, this week. My question is, can you run a modulator on an H.I.D.? I don't have that yet either but was considering one later.

I run the one from Kriss on my 07 ultra. Works like a champ and I believe it has saved me more then once as I have watched people start to turn in front of me and then stop

As far as I know, modulators cannot be used with a HID bulb.

Please look under my HID section for this answer but the answer is absolutely not.

I am coming out with a brand new product where we can modulate a duplex bulb (halogen/HID) in passing lamps when you convert them over to headlight lenses (glass part). You turn your batwing bagger into 3 HID headlights and only a Halogen lamp with the optional modulator. There is no real Hi/Lo option in these as the HID (for low) is so much brighter than the Halogen (for High) Both side headlights can be turned off or on as per stock and the HID can be wired to turn off with an interupter remote switch (your choice).

Make sure you do the mod to make your spots run all the time. I have the one you're looking at and sometimes there is a delay in the high beam coming on. If the spots aren't on you're in the dark...
