Hi all, I'm in desperate need of a better seat for my 09 Ultra. I was going to wait for the Mustang since I had one on my 07 SG and we both loved it but I sat on a 08 bike this weekend with the 08-09 Sundowner on it and it sat really good and it's available now. I bought a Sundowner for my 07 and it was no better than the stock seat so I don't want to make the same mistake twice, have they actually improved or is just me?

 

When I traded in my 07 Fatboy and picked up the 09 SG before we left the dealer I had them put the Sundowner deepbucket on and it was the most comfortable seat I have had, will add hours onto our rides.

 

I have one on my '09. It is a comfortable front and rear. BUT it doesn't fit on the bike very good. It is hard to mount on the tongue in front and rubs the side covers. Not up to HD standards on fit.

 

Thanks for the info on that, the one I saw was on a 08 bike. I wondered how Harley seats are supposed to fit 08 and 09 when all other seat companies 08 seats don't fit right.

 

Mine fits good. Very comfortable. 500 mile trips my back goes before my azz. You wont be sorry you bought it.

 

have 1 on my 09 road glide. much better than the stock rg seat.......ride safe!!!!

 

Just put the Sundowner Deep Bucket on my '09 RKC. Love it. Rode it 200 miles yesterday in complete comfort. Fits bike well too.

 

I have it on my 08 FLHRC; however, I had it customized to fit me, my passenger, and my taste. It's an incredible seat and fits like a glove with real leather...

 

+1 on my '08 SG. No more butt-burn at 150 miles!

Have a Sundowner on my 2008 Street Glide and I love it. Almost 1100 miles to Daytona and back with no problems.
