Default Heated Gear Question?

Okay, so what do you wear under the heated pants and what do you wear over them? Rode today at about 35 with the jacket and gloves and it was great. Stumped on the pants? Will this rank with one of the top dumb questions?

don't have heated pants.... but you shouldn't need anything OVER them.... maybe a thin long john under them... or some under armor... if they're too hot

Yep. Jeans under, nothing over since they are windproof. Maybe an extra layer under if it gets too cold. Rode the other morning at 25 and felt good. If you get the pants liner, you should wear chaps or windproof nylon over to block out the wind.

I guess you are right, but what in the world do you do when you get somewhere? it seems like jeans underneath would work then I could just slip off the heated stuff. I think I'll give that a try in the morning. It's supposed to be about 35 at day break.

Exactly why I got the outers. I use them like chaps. Walk in to the office, take them off and hang them up with my jacket.

The liners are made to wear under jeans but not up against the skin. The Gerbing outer pants are made to wear over jeans and nothing on top of them... just like you would with wearing chaps.

I don't have heated pants. I have the heated jacket liner and heated gloves, but no heated pants. But I wear poly prop long underwear with flannel lined jeans and they keep me plenty warm.
