Default Fork mounted wind deflectors

Does anyone use these?
They say they won't work on an Ultra
here in FLA we went down in the 40's and we get cold at those temps

Going down the road the only thing that gets cold is the wind on my legs

Yes the lowers are closed
Yes the fairing wings are shut

The wind is coming in the opening above the lowers and below the batwing

any ideas of stopping this wind down low

I think the reason they won't work on an ultra is hitting the lower fairings and possibly no place to mount them as if I remember right they mount on the RK wind shield mounting bolts.

The mounts are there ,the passing lamp bracket is held on there. But they will hit the lowers I'm pretty sure

So do they make something for an Ultra or can the others be modified anyway

Seems strange that the top of the line touring Harley would not have this option

According to 88b the mounts are there but they would still hit the lowers. Don't think removing the lowers would be an option as this would be counter productive to what you want to accomplish. The 09 lowers have an adjustable vent on each side that would do the same thing (limit the amt of air in winter) if you could get your hands on a set of them.

Why do you need the fork mounted deflectors? You have the lower fairings to do that job.

The wind that comes through the space aboove the lowers - below the wing

I don't have a problem with the wind, it's just the cold wind
A set of chaps would work also
