Just bought front lowering kit from hd for 07 roadglide-read instructions & was trying to figure out how to get correct fluid level in tubes without buying harley tool for measureing amount-I just want to pour it in with same amount I took out assuming that it had the correct level to start with.already have rear lowered shocks but front end acts wierd .So next step,do the front.

 

The easiest thing to do is take the front end apart and take it to your local indy and pay him $50 to install the kit and then put it back on.

 

Always do my own work.Just thought someone would have the answer to my question.

 

I have the same kit, in the process of installing it....maybe! The instruction sheet says to put 10.5 oz. in each fork. The oil bottles are marked in oz. so that should be safe.
Im not so sure I want to lower mine, have you any clearance issues?
