My manual for an 06 FLHTCI (page 78) says "rider with passenger weight of up to 200#, 20-25#. Maximum GVWR 20-35#. I would say that 35# is max and safe and anything more is pushing it. This excludes FLHRS and FLHX.

I'm 180 ready to ride, Kat is close to 145ish ready to ride, I run at 10# and only occaisionally will I bottom out 2 up and never 1 up.

05 Ultra rear air shock info is on page 77. (for all models except the Road King) You will need an HD hand pump/guage. 35 is the max.
