Default Review for Firstgear Thermogear Suit

Can't say enough about this suit for Winter Riding and especially commuting. Got it a couple days back. Very well made, easy on and off even with boots. 120 grams of Thinsulate (half as much as most snowmobile suits) makes it feel not bulky at all. Legs are cut long for plenty of coverage while seated, and looks to be the most waterproof suit I have ever had. Certainly more than my Tourmaster one piece.

Anyway, rode it in the last two mornings on my morning commute which is done at 0615. Temp yesterday was 30.2 and today 27 degrees. I wore the suit with only slacks and polo shirt underneath and was toasty warm the entire 35 miles.

This suit has totally negated outside temps and made cold weather riding fun again.

All that for $143.00

I have had one of those suits for a few years now. Well worth it. Wearing the suit plus heated vest and gloves you can ride for a long time in cold weather.

Thumbs up One Pc First Gear Suit

Got one myself.... Probably the warmest piece of clothing I ever had. Including that stuff they gave us to wear on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier in the North Atlantic. Anything above thirty-five degrees and you'll sweat the boys right off....Still toasty warm down in to the twenties. Its a big piece of gear but will just barely fit in the tour pac when the sun comes up. Never road with it in the rain...... and cold. I still have personal limitations.LOL

In my opinion, you just can't beat FirstGear apparel. I own a pair of their rider overpants. They are waterproof and rugged. They also have a removable quilted liner and are easy on and off over riding boots and have full length zippers on both legs. Their gear is worth the money. Top notch.
