So I pick my bike up on Saturday, spend all day riding. We stopped for a bite to eat and were looking at the bike when I noticed something funny. The pinstriping on the right side saddlebag is grey and the pinstriping on the left side saddlebage is red! I went back to the dealership to show them and they said they had never seen that before. They but put the order in for the correct saddlebag and said it might take a while to be shipped but I'll get the right colour eventually. The bike is amazing though and I'm thankful it was something minor so I can keep riding.

 

What model and color do you have?

2006 RG Vivid Black. Yeah I'm not sure if it came like that or not. They claim it did but how do you prove it? I'm surprised I didn't notice it doing the walkthrough but I guess being over excited to get on the road had my attention to detail clouded.

I think there was a guy in last week with the same complaint except the colors were reversed.

 

Ha! It would be hilarious if somebody on the forum had the same thing happen but reversed. Might even be quicker to swap it privately instead of waiting for the factory to ship out a new one.

lil_gmac2, I'd go with the grey. The Fairing has grey pinstriping and so does the tank.

Picked up my 06 roadglide with one chrome saddlebag latch and one black pearl latch.
Dealer said he never saw that before.

 

My Street Glide have both sadle bag latch chrome (from the factory)!
