Need suggestion for seat upgrade - 2009 Road King Classic
#11
My husband has used both the Sundowner and the Tallboy and I was happy sitting on passenger pillion of either. The wider the better for passenger. (I know they don't look as good but they are comfortable!)
He is 6'1" 240 lbs.
He now has an Electra Glide Standard and that stock seat was comfortable for me.
I've had a Corbin and wasn't impressed with the pillion but I never had to ride it on my personal bike so it didn't matter.
The back rest that is larger with a curve in it is great. The flat pads on chopped tour paks are not comfortable but the ones with arms on the King Tour Pak are.
Mean City could replace foam but if they can't make platform wider, I would not go that direction. I am 5'4", 140 lbs. I couldn't tolerate passenger pillion on RKC or ST Glide stock seats for more than 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Too thin and narrow.
