Default Can I run with Xied's/ied's in lieu of a fuel management system.....

....when upgrading to a stage 1 system? Just wondering if I go with a true duals setup with slip-on's, hi-flow A/C and the Xied's. The Xied's will be richening up the mixture anyhow so I was wondering if this would work?

Thanks

im running the xied's on my 07 rkc , with rush slip-on 1.5 baffles , stock ac .the bike runs great ... but in your set up since your going with a hi flow intake i think i would choose something alittle more ... just to be sure

If you were just adding slipons then yes. With more air coming in the front then no. I am running O2IED's, stock AC, and WP slipons. Sounds perfect and runs great. I might get a PC3 because I have *slight* popping on decel and if I roll a touch of throttle on then it goes away. The PC3 would eliminate the popping with a +10 on fuel at zero throttle below 3000 RPM. No other reason. I have an 05 FXST with a full Stage 1 and a PC3 and it runs super duper.

I have drilled holes in the end of the stock mufflers (mainly the right) with the XIED; no other mods. I'm 300+ lbs and my bike usually out performs the stage 1 with other mods. We run'em daily. :-)

I am running My 08 SG with XIED's, a Doherty air intake, Rush true dual head pipes, and BobVic slip-ons.. Slight decibel pop on a strong downshift.. But other than that my bike is SWEET..!!!

On my 08 RG, I'm running the XIEDS, everything else is stock. Bike runs great, sounds great and is smooth and fast. I can't believe how good the stock pipes sound with the XIEDS. For $100.00 it is the best mod I have made. Period, end of story.
Harley would have to screw it up with the 09's.
