At home in the garage for dust, for years now I use a king size sheet, try it, works great.
Ditto, when I do cover, rarely, I use a cotton flannel hospital sheet Works great, no fuss, breathes, and wash when needed.

1. Get cover.
2. Get something to remove moisture under cover.
3. Get something to protect paint from moisture removal device should it fall.
4. Get scratch remover because moisture removal device cover did not work.
5. Get bed sheet because everything else failed.

Mine is garage kept also. I have a piece of carpeting I took from one of our bedrooms after having it re-carpeted of course. I always park the bike over it and throw an old king size sheet over my ultra. Never had a problem with moisture. An old hard core biker told me about using carpet. Even in an old shed it seems to work well.

found that out last winter. I have a heated garage, but the bike would be wet as could be. I leave the cover off now and deal with the dust.

Goldenrod from West Marine. Low power draw, less expensive then running a light bulb. I like the idea and the idea of putting a piece of carpet underneath too.

Good tips!

sounds like you have an issue with moisture coming up from the concrete in your floor. is your garage floor wet? I had issues with alot of moisture coming you through the garage floor (contractor didn't use a moisture barrier before they poured the concrete). place a tarp or something under the bike then cover.

I park the SB in the garage> It sits on truck mud flaps and I cover with old cotton sheets. Stays clean and dry.

No, floor isnt wet and cars parked indoors do not get moisture like my bike did. Thats why I believe it was the cover that trapped humidity or made a temperature difference underneath it. I'm going to get a piece of carpet (remnant) for underneath and get a goldenrod too, besides changing the cover to sheets like I already have.
