Yes, I know what I am buying. I already have the V & H Basic slash cuts. Good lookin' out though...

Now that I almost have this POS harley stock header pipes off, they look like they are going to be a real PITA to reinstall. Gonna order the true duals in a minute.

Do these kill your gas mileage? I expect to loose a little low end torque.

I know when I put mine on, the SE mufflers got noticably louder.

I don't want to sound stupid, but I have heard of power cones that can be installed on the head pipes to help keep the bottom end torque. Is that an option in this case?

I didn't put any on mine. I don't know if they'd help with torque or not. It's possible it might choke you down too much.

I purchased V&H true duals and ovals from there web site, among other things. Nothing but great service and fast delivery. Didn't know they sold on eBay. The true duals are $21 cheaper on eBay.
